Fun🌈DANCE with Celestina & INDIA 𝐁π₯𝐚𝐜𝐀 𝐇𝐒𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐑 π’π©πžπœπ’πšπ₯!

A unique program blending traditional and contemporary dance with spoken word and rap, created and delivered by me, Celestina, and my seven-years-young daughter, India. India is both co-creator and inspiration, her curiosity, joy, and intelligence shining alongside mine, showing children what’s possible when they are encouraged to express themselves freely. Together, we craft an immersive, joyful experience that leaves a lasting impression on all participants—students and teachers alike.

Our workshops fuse traditional West African and Caribbean dance forms with contemporary styles like Afrobeats and hip-hop, interwoven with our own playful, expressive approach. Spoken word and rap add layers of reflection, empowerment, and creative spark, giving every child the chance to explore voice, movement, and imagination.

What sets Fun Dance apart is its intergenerational, heart-centered connection. These sessions celebrate creativity, cultural heritage, and the joy of movement, going beyond a tribute to Black history and culture. Through our example, children learn that movement, art, and poetry are tools to connect with themselves, their roots, and the world—and discover the limitless potential of shared, joyful expression.

“Celestina and India are wonderful! Polite, professional, enthusiastic, and a joy to be around. The children had a fantastic time, grew in confidence, and parents were moved seeing them take part. Their dedication, organisation, and passion for the arts shine through — we would welcome them back anytime!”
